PS/FTO J-V characteristics. Current-voltage characteristics of PS/FTO heterojunctions. Dark and illuminated condition
curves are shown. The dark condition characteristic of this heterojunctions presents
a rectifying behavior in reverse bias, similar to that of a conventional diode. When
illuminated at 110 mW/cm2, PS/FTO generates a photovoltaic effect with an the open-circuit voltage value of
70 mV and short-circuit current of 5 mA/cm−2. A fit with a simple diode model is also included.
