Micro-CT images of the experimental mice. The mice were injected subcutaneously with 10 μL {(Au0)200-G5.NH2} DENPs at [Au] of 0.007 (a), 0.009 (b), 0.01 (c), and 0.02 M (d). The white circle in (a) indicates the injection site. Arrows in the remaining panels
show where Au DENPs have become distributed as a short segment in the interspace between
the skin and the subcutaneous soft tissue. The mean CT values at the injection region
were 31.57 (a), 41.23 (b), 48.56 (c), and 75.76 HU (d).
