Instructions for authors

Nanoscale Research Letters (NRL) provides an interdisciplinary forum for communication of scientific and technological advances in the creation and use of objects at the nanometer scale. NRL is the first nanotechnology journal from a major publisher to be published with Open Access.

Each article type published by Nanoscale Research Letters follows a specific format, as detailed in the corresponding instructions for authors; please choose an article type from the list on the left to view the instructions for authors.

The instructions for authors includes information about preparing a manuscript for submission to Nanoscale Research Letters, criteria for publication and the online submission process. Special issues

Authors submitting an article for inclusion in a special issue of the journal should use the normal submission system process and assign their manuscript one of the standard journal article types. A note should be included in the cover letter stating the title of the special issue the manuscript is to be included in. Manuscripts will be grouped into an issue upon publication and displayed on the journal website.
